I've read quite a few threads on here about binder comparisons and being everyone is so different with taste it's hard to figure out which way to go. I'm pretty set on the loveboat binder's but have NO idea which style to get. I've used duct tape for a solid 10 years. I know it's a horrible method, but I have it down to a science. I have an Underworks double compression shirt, that I'm pretty sure is too big. Nothing gets me as flat as the tape, but I'm sick of paying 4.99 every week to have no tits!

I'm 5'4 170-175, very stocky. I have broad shoulders, a solid beer gut, and wear a 34 in jeans. I measured myself tonight for the first time in my life, and according to loveboat I'm right between a L/XL. More so towards the XL, but being I have no idea how true to size they are, I'm worried it won't be tight enough to bind as flat as I want to be.
My gf kept telling me I was probably a A/B cup size, so I entertained her by trying on her bra (36D). We came to the conclusion I'm a bigger B, small C, and 36 around.

I'm just looking for other guys opinions are far as what to get for flattening. I can deal with a little discomfort as long as I can breath. I like the idea of the short binder, but fear it'll make my gut look even bigger. I'm leaning towards the   High Performance Velcro Long Binder, but again have no idea what I'm doing lol.

I've heard the zipper ones work great, but I wear a lot of Tshirts and don't want to have what looks like a nipple in the middle of my chest. ANY opinions from personal experience will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Oh and, I don't know if it matters but, my manbags are flat flopcakes from taping for years and the broken down tissue from years of T.
