All I can say is that I hope this won't be a myth for me.  Sadly, I'm like 5'11.  It would be nice to get to wear heels without feeling like a giant.

I also didn't believe that it was possible, and then suddenly at my last doctor's appointment I measured in at 6' 0.5" after an entire adult life of being 6' 2". Totally not complaining!

I'm usually skeptical of stuff like this, but my personal experience seems to indicate that height loss is a thing. I used to be 5'4"... and now I'm 5'2".

Not sure how I feel about this.

I thought I shrunk a little but no. I am 5'6. Same height I have been since forever. I would rather grow. 5'7 seems good.

A 1/2" gain!  Unusual, but with the overly high T levels during my adulthood shutting down the normal male muscle mass gain and then gaining it with bone mass gain as well on HRT.  Standing up straighter due to more confidence and better self-esteem helped here as well.  This has a downside.  I am more susceptable to a lower vitamin D levels than others as evidenced with severe non-diabetic neuropathy pain in my feet that had me virtually bedridden this past winter and partially bedridden in the record breaking heat of last July.  I only went out to shop or to shovel snow.  I am just recovering from this.  The sun finally came out and I slowly managed to hand dig up my 1400 sq ft garden area last month.
Also just being back from a trip to the northwest coast to visit lost cousins was a good tonic here as well.  I am not complaining here as well.  Getting some things that you never had is a treat for this 60 year old!

OMG I hope I shrink an inch or two (as long as it is not a health issue". I would feel much more comfortable being 5'10" instead of 6'.

I have dropped at least an inch but we are talking from age 21 until 50 and I do not know whether to attribute this to HRT or age? easy to do it to either  :)  I am just under 5' 4" now

Are there any FTM who report growing from testosterone!? Including skull, hands and feet of course?

I kid myself about being "too tall Tessa."  At 5'11+ I would also love to come down from the high heel heights but HRT wait and see has been working nicely so far.  Friends say I look thinner.  I am at the same weight but it is more variable than in the past.  Another boyfriend is more direct about considering my "stature" to be diminished by being girly but that is his way subjective response;-)
Here's to a great view!

It is a certain amount of testosterone in a growing male that signals the stoppage of growth by signaling the capping of the bones.  Eunuchs castrated before onset of puberty will be excessively tall as shown in human history.  It is HGH that causes growth and the other hormones do signal the stoppage of growth after certain body developments are met.  FtM's starting before onset of puberty or on puberty blockers will be small, the same with MtF's at that age.
