I'm not sure but it seems to me there's a dearth of FTM films.  I just saw one that I can recommend:  Call Me Malcolm, a documentary about an FTM seminary student, now 26 years old and a minister.  Although it's produced and marketed by UCC (United Church of Christ) the emphasis is in no way on the religious or church involvement, but rather on Malcolm's personal journey as a TS.  It's very affirming and positive and nicely done.

I've seen it.  It's a good film.

I've heard that's good. There's also "You Don't Know Dick", "Southern Comfort" and "Transparent". They're good too.

I have Southern Comfort up next in my Blockbuster queue, but I haven't been able to track down the other two.  They don't seem to be available even on Amazon.

Thanks!  But wow, $295 for You Don't Know Dick.  Not in my budget!  LOL.  Maybe one of them'll turn up in a local screening eventually.

I bought my copy of You Don't Know Dick for $45 from the producer, Northern Lights. Try a google for them maybe.

By the way, if anyone wants to see Call Me Malcolm, I did purchase it because it wasn't too expensive, and I'd be happy to lend it to anyone who'd like to see it.  We could send it round.  Just PM me with info.
