Lol @ fierce bunny!

Steph- Thanks! :D

That is actually just the config software for the audio interface. I mainly use Logic, but I'm thinking about switching to Cubase. And yes that is a Dave Smith Tempest :) - - the most worthy investment I have ever made besides transitioning. And yes they are yamaha hs50's + hs10 sub. The speakers are 3 days old!

I guess to put a genre to it, I am mostly into deep house - but with the largest influence placed upon groove and clarity of sound. My guess why I landed on this area of EDM is: probably due to all the years of jazz training. Also I haven't produced a track in its entirety yet so I've nothing to show for myself musically at the moment, but I'm working on it! I'm hoping in a few months to be able to inject some female vocals, too ;)

I don't know if you have used cubase much,  but it's not as friendly,  is more expensive and has less backing (but I would say that,  I am an apple certified logic pro :-P ) it's also less well considered professionally in general,  unless you are going to do sound for film and video,  where they use a modified version called nuendo.

It would be interested to hear some of your stuff if you ever feel like sharing :-)

Jennygirl, I think sassy/flirty. Nice, you have some creative skills. I like a lot of pop music genres, but my love is for Jazz, especially latin & Brazillian. Unfortunately I don't have any musical skills, but seem to know what sounds good. My Dad influenced my with recording of Big Bands that he listened to and saw back in the 40's. A lot of Big Band musicians evolved into Jazz musicians & I followed that from the 60's through to the present.

eloij, you a blossoming into femininity, too cute!

All you Ladies here are just AWESOME!

Excellent progress, Julia! Your cheeks are really starting to round out, and you're really starting to get that "glow" to you, and your skin is looking SO soft! You look gorgeous already, and you're going to look completely fantastic once your hair grows in!

And as always, the best part of transition... the gorgeous smile. Getting brighter and brighter with every single picture you take!

This was me trying to look fierce before I headed down to the metal shop to get down & durty with some welding. What do you think? Fierce or not fooling anyone? ;)

Not fooling me toughie, pretty sassy-girl look though! ;D

That would cover up my existing gang patch, though! I'm already part of a bike gang/cult! We call ourselves the Los Angelopes. Except we're not the motorcycle kind of bike group- instead we are about the human powered cycle kind of "bike". Most people in the "cult" (as we call it) ride double or triple decker "tall bikes". Personally though, I ride a DJ enabled sound bike that I finished building in 2012 that I call "mega mundo". It's kind of like having a mobile club. One of our members even has a projector mounted to his bike and he VJ's while we ride :) And no, I don't actually DJ while I ride that is suicide. The bike opens up at stops and that's when the dance parties happen!

Here are some pics of me and the bike in action up in the bay area from about a month and a half ago.

a few detailed pics of the bike, and you can see my ex's pretty blue tall bike in the background

And thank you Jamie, Shantel, and Emerald :D

Hmmm which instrument would I play? Alto sax, keyboard, guitar, mellophone, vocals, or all of them at the same time? I honestly feel like maybe learning bass guitar would be good for this look :icon_rockon:

After makeup:

This was also my first time putting makeup on, I think I did a pretty good job. Right when I took the pic I saw what parts I need to work on more (directly under the eye). Definitely looking forward to longer hair!

You know what this picture needs, more than anything?  -  A smile.
