Alrighty! So, I finally decided to tell my mom about how I've felt all my life. That, I felt like I should be a female rather than a male. I told her over a text message! I'm so lame! I wanted to tell her when I went on Leave (military), but didn't have the courage since I'm such a loser.
But! Randomly sent her a text explaining. She was so excited! And, happy that I've finally told her! She was very comforting and accepting. She told my dad (works off shore) that night. He was also very accepting! A couple of days later, I finally called her and talked about it. Told her that's why I used to cut myself and always seemed so depressed. Because I was hiding who I was so that I could "spare them from the embarrassment and pain". She almost started crying! Saying that I was too selfless for my own good, and would have done anything for me to tell her earlier. I love my parents so much! She happily joked about how it explained why my favorite color was pink!
I have awesome parents, and love them both dearly! I told my little sister (19 years old) like a month or so ago. She was super excited to be able to go shopping with me, and do make-up! Now, I can't wait to go on Leave again! It's going to be just that much better now that they know.
TL;DR I love my parents! They're awesome! <3
