I hate to be a little TMI here but I need a little advise. It seems that nearly every time I tuck it when i dress up it gets painful after awhile, kind of like a stinging pain or a rash. How can I prevent this because it is just so uncomfortable to actually do it for long periods of time >.<

It takes awhile for the body to get used to the new placement of its parts. This, and estrogen will help. At first, I could tuck for a couple minutes...then it worked for a couple hours. Just before I got on HRT (about 6 months after starting to tuck) I was able to go the whole day.

ymmv, of course.
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Okay, you've got my interest. I prefer to just not deal with what's down there put it out of my mind so I looked up Spanx and there's there a lot of different ones. Do you mind sharing which one(s) you use?

I'm trying to solve this same issue, although it's becoming a different game... Before HRT, I could tuck fairly well using the right shapewear panties. It would all stay where I want it for hours between bathroom breaks. Now, 3ish months into HRT, seems there may be some shrinkage. I don't seem to be able to prevent the penis from almost inverting into the skin. The downside is that it now creates a bulge at the front that I'm having a harder time hiding. I've bought a gaff to test that method out, it should arrive later this week. I'm not sure what else can apply desired pressure to the front to keep it all flat. Most panties are fairly roomy there, or, will squeeze bits out the side. Will let you know how I get on with the gaff, otherwise any other suggestions?

I tried to tuck once and all I can say is OUCH!!!!!  I don't have a lot down there but it was still very very uncomfortable. I gave that up pretty quick. So dresses or skirts, I always have some sort of Spanx underneath (mid thigh shaper is my main go-to).  For pants or shorts, I just don't bother. There is a lot more that gives me away than what's between my legs. Besides, nobody should be staring at that area anyway. :)

I use two pair of tight women's panties. They're 10% spandex so they have some stretch. I like this solution because it's the closest method to the way a cis woman would dress.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Methinks my method might be slightly unusual, but it is born from the fact that I've never really had that much down there to worry about. Basically I pull everything up, not down. While the two roundish things then slot neatly into the intended sockets (and HRT has made them shrink enough for them to no longer show up in any way), the middle element is flat against the body, held vertical by virtue of, usually, a pair of AA unisex briefs and a high spandex women's panty (left / right movement is sufficiently inhibited by local hair). Forms a small mound, but nothing major, and essentially vanishes under the zipper when wearing skinny / super skinny jeans, with no external signs. No tape, no toilet issues.

That being said, the method works with pretty much everything except for pencil skirts. Those are an entirely different beast.

I just wear 50% cotton/50% polyester fruit of the loom underwear fairly form fitting and it works for me. When I first transitioned at 23 I did tuck

it hurt but I was wear tights and stuff like that to work and out to night clubs.

now I go for comfort, nobody see's anything since I wear fairly loose skirts.

Spanx can be an utter pain the butt for a working girl. You sweat, and then going to the bathroom and it can be a hassle. Otherwise they can work well and I can't say anything bad about it. I think finding a comfortable tucking routine is the simplest and wisest decision. I wrote a ridiculously extensive post about it a very long time ago when I was *very* active on here several years back. Have a looksy!

If I ever get a rash I put a little gold bond powder down there. Not rash.

I really do not think there is any wrong or right way of hiding your candy.  Try things out and find out what works best for you :)

I just shove my balls into my abdomen and then pull my penis back and then tape it. It dosnt hurt or anything. I learned the trick from Carmen Carrera after watching the season of rupauls drag race that she was in.
