Is there anyone here who will be watching E3 2013?  I am going to try and watch it.  Coverage starts in less than 10 minutes here.  The Microsoft Press conference is one of the first things coming up but I'm personally excited for the Sony Press conference.  I'm only watching the Microsoft press conference out of a subconcious gamer obligation.  Looking forward to what EA and Ubisoft will bring to the table!

I'm looking forward to, in order:
Bethesda's next game
Anything interesting on PC
Sony's press conference
Ubisoft's press conference

Couldn't care less about MS.

It's that time again! Have fun, all!

I will delightfully watch out for Microsoft try to defend the negative criticism against the x-box "one".  As a long term playstation and linux fangirl, it's nice to see all them squirm a bit.  Yeah, I know flame wars are stupid as is backing one brand over another; however,  we all have fun trolling here and there :)

That's ok. I can sum it up for you: "We won't make the mistakes Microsoft made." (Cue several-minutes-long cheering)

LOL indeed.  I just saw the part of that and was even clapping myself.  Have they rolled out a price yet?

Well, they made quite a few mistakes themselves.  It's really sad there is no backwards compatibility with the ps4.  I know price wise it becomes difficult, but it's unfair to expect gamers to continuously purchase older games.  Also, many games are not available to purchase.  So, after time you can't even play your old games.   This sucks for me because I tend to prefer playing older games.

Still, I will admit I am one of the fangirls in that cheering crowd.

399 US Dollars. Game. Over. :D

Lol just saw

Wow Sony put Microsoft to the grave with that.  I was clapping.

It does suck that there isn't backwards compatibility but I plan on keeping my PS3 and purchasing any games that I want.

Sony knocked it out of the park this time...which is good, because I occasionally still flash back to the "599 US dollars" fiasco.

Can't wait to see what Nintendo brings tomorrow!  All of the Pokemon pages I follow on Facebook are going nuts about tomorrow's X/Y news.

From what I understand, the PS4 WILL be backwards compatible. Maybe not initially, but in time every Playstation game ever, from the PSOne up, will be playable on the PS4.

Is it just me, or did Microsoft just shoot themselves in both feet and then stick said feet in their mouths.... sideways

I can't possibly imagine how Xbox One can limp along after Sony's reveal of PS4.  Sony has chosen to learn from its past mistakes while Microsoft seems completely oblivious to what the rest of us call observable reality.

I have to agree-Microsoft made some cement shoes and jumped into the ocean.  I am honestly looking foward to the holiday sales on this one.  I am convinced that most people who purchase an Xbox One will either fall into one of a few categories.  They either:

A. Purchasing it just for the exclusives.

B. Parents buying it for their younger kids that has little to no knowledge about the console

C. Buying it simply because they can and to say they own one

D. Need a foot rest while they are playing PS3

E. Always buy games new, never trades them and stay connected to the internet 24/7 anyways

I really wish Microsoft actually took the time to address the elephant(s) in the room.

Not one, but TWO Zelda games in the works for WiiU! We'll be getting an HD remake of Wind Waker, and an entirely new, open world Zelda game.

Megaman in Smash Brothers? Yep. Buying a Wii U. That and Bayonetta 2 as well as Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem.

Also, I think Microsoft just got into this mode of "We're the best thing on the market right now, so we don't have to give a crap about our consumers." And it cost them dearly. Sony kind of pulled that stunt with the PS3 reveal too. Once they get ahead, they get pretty arrogant.  I'm loving the PS4 right now, and it's lighter on my poor wallet.

I hate playing games on a PC. I have been a console chick from the Atari 2600 days on up.
