I was coming home today thinking about the so called familiy I left in southern Minnesota. All my friends Tara, Luke, Michelle, Humphrey, Alysha, and all the rest have been more of a family to me then my own so called "family". They don't know about me being transgendered yet. But the way they act towards me and other things that come on the tv about transgendered people and all that other things, I'm sure they would support me on it. :)

It's great to hear that you have such awesome friends.  I have really cool friends that mean the world to me.  They have no idea how much their acceptance and support has helped me through this difficult time.  While my family will always be family, I have to consider my close friends a part of my extended family.  I hope that makes sense, lol.

Friends are the only family that we get to choose.
