Hi, I am Tyla, and I am a SO of my wife who is trans.

I am here for her support but I also have questions regarding myself.

I am a girl, I like being a girl, but I hate the clothes. I love dressing as a guy, but I still identify as female. Guy clothes are just so much more awesome.

Does this qualify my as a Crossdresser? Or is there somewhere else where I fit a little more snuggly in the definition?

It's... complicated.

Crossdressing has some facets.

Mostly, it comes down to, do you present as a man, or as a tomboy, or a girl that just wears comfy clothing? Another possible facet is, do you get a sexual thrill or pleasure from crossdressing?

Having known you in real life, I would say that just wearing man pants and my shirts doesn't really count as crossdressing par se. But, that isn't the be all, end all of it. :P Most likely, no, you aren't a crossdresser. If you were to lower your voice, bind your breasts, and maybe even get a packy, then yes, you'd be a crossdresser. ^_^

:P If we had the money to take me clothes shopping I would buy my own man clothes.

But I see your point. I like presenting as a guy when I am out alone, so more people don't bug me. I am paranoid (as you know, Sarra) that someone will kidnap me or something that may not happen if they think I am male.

I guess girl clothes are just too complicated for me to choose and like and and and... Guy clothes are shirts, pants, shoes. I don't want to focus on, shirt, undershirt, jacket, bag, tights, skirt or shorts, shoes or shoes.

Too many options!!

Well... I guess lol

Just be careful about presenting as male. You might still get abducted *coughpriestcough*

Actually, men's formal dresses can be sexy when women wear them. Nowadays, most business-style dresses of women are originally based on men's, aren't they?
