Hello Ladies, with so many things still going on with my brother's transplant reject, I went out to Ross to go shopping on Thursday to try to change my mood. I'd already had the pink and lavender maxi for several months, but I've just really started to wear it the last few weeks. The shopping didn't help much, but I really love the new maxi. Your hair is awesome! I loveloveLOVE it! The red looks great too! I need to get some more dye myself. I've just been dying it a warm auburn but might go for a more vibrant shade of red. I love my short pixie cut. I don't know why more trans girls don't cut it this way since it is really quite feminine when it's cut right.

Hair length has nothing to do with looking male or female.

• low maintenance
• styling takes less than 5 minutes
• it makes you unique (not many girls have short hair or can pull it off)
• you can have fun with coloring it or doing simple highlights

and more pros to list.
i can't think of one con tbh.
and i love the red color on me

I think that the styling of the hair plays the biggest role hair feminization, unless one is lucky enough (like you) to have very feminine facial features. Sometimes trans women benefit greatly from the feminization that properly styled long hair can bring.

But you are right, length does not determine the femininity of hair. It's the way it is presented with the rest of the package that counts. And your presentation is fabulous!

EDIT: forgot to add, my hair takes 0 minutes to style. Shower + towel + pin it up to do makeup - let it down = done. I'm all about the low maintenance thing.
