Lori, I'm reading from the screen, that's were the problem lies

I should really try to learn it by heart, it would make it a lot better.
That's my natural voice. My voice is THAT high naturally no joke.
If I've got problems with my lows its because I never speak low in conversation, in fact, I can talk even higher than that; I'm comfortable in the high range. In the poetry reading, I'm trying for more much broader range. I noticed that in the start of second sonnet is slightly nasal with a very high pitch, then the nasality fades in 5-6 seconds.
Also, my voice sounds a bit different when recorded through a good mike (I got professional ones) instead of a camera.
I just took a spectrograf to that sample and the FO=270, which is pretty high. My normal everyday voice's FO=235-240.
Minimum pitch 130Hz, maximum pitch 400 Hz, that's quite a speaking range, average deviation around average pitch=50 Hz. Its funny that my minimum pitch is close to the male average and I've got a lot of problem around that pitch.
12% shimmer... GRRR, that's caused my by vocal cord problem, in the morning its around 7%. This makes the raspiness in my voice.
The stats come from the free spectograf, Praat
