Hi guys.

Need a little help here. I'd like to know if anyone who has a 998 can tell me what the tag states on it?

You know, like (this is what my 974 tag says):

Shell: 90% cotton
10% Spandex
Lining: 80% Nylon
20% Spandex
Wash Cold
Line Dry
No Bleach
Style 974
S
Made In USA

I plan on getting two of the 998's after I exchange a 997 for another 974 in small (the 997 true to size -large- just did NOT work for me at all and wouldn't even if my body mass composition and shape dramatically changed overnight, long story but suffice it to say, those will absolutely not work for me).

I'd like to get two of the 998's, but I need to know what the tag states to get an idea of the differences. For anyone who can answer I hope you do, and maybe also what does the compression difference between a 974 and a 998 feel like? I mean I know they are different but I'd like to know how much of a difference there is between one of those and one of the 974's so that I can more accurately judge the necessary size for me. Their sizing recommendations are wrong for me.

Like even though they claim I should go for a large in the 974, my first was a medium and didn't work well so I got a small and that's the one that has been working for me even despite that it's four years old and just now starting to not bind effectively (that one is going to become my designated weight lifting one now).

I'm sure I'll be about a medium but I don't want to make a mistake and have the medium in those not work after a while like they do in the 974. If that makes sense.

But I absolutely do not want it to be like the 997. I think most of the problems it causes for me is with the actual cut of it, not the binding power but you know. I need to be able to actually breathe and not feel loopy from oxygen deprivation lmao. But I'd also like a little extra compression than the 974 and the 998 seems like it would deliver... like as per:

Just so nobody else makes the same mistake... the 974's have been completely changed from what they used to be back in 2008... not only in material, but also in cut and size and seam. Completely unusable. Medium in those from 2008 wouldn't even work past two months, but the Small in those worked perfectly until after four years of use. The new Small in them (and all the other sizes for that matter, because of the cut and the seam type), are unsuitable. They will absolutely not work for me anymore (they don't even have the same result of compression for all of that extra discomfort because of the new cut and seams). I originally went with a 997 before exchanging and that also absolutely won't work either (I could not breathe and yes it was ordered using their sizing guideline).

So if you have a 998 and you know what that tag says in the material type and percentages I would be very grateful if you could tell me what it says so I can better judge which size to get for me (now that I know from the new 974's what the materials feel like now). I'd rather not try and contact the company directly... I'd have to stay up way too late and I have enough issues with sleep schedules as it is. They do not provide this information on their website for this specific style otherwise I wouldn't need to ask. Thank you.
