Really sorry I didn't make this clear or get back sooner.

This isn't me.

Sadly, I don't stand straight now and it's been a long tome since I was that slim.

Being trans has pretty much killed any desire I have to ever swim for the time being. The whole bathing suit issue pretty much frightens me since I'm not even trying to pass yet, but now I just have an absolute aversion to male bathing suits. Good thing this rarely comes up ever.

we dont need a two piece. since we have all gained weight over time. there are slimming one piece suits that we can look good in.  just gain some courage and do it.

I'm gonna rock a modest two-piece...I figure I'm not getting paid to show my skin, so my adoring fans will just get what they paid for...
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

I avoided swimwear completely last summer but have become very comfortable this last year .  My partners family spends many weekends on the lake so it was inevitable that I had to have a swimsuit.  The time had come.  I tried on a few and was surprised how well a one piece fit my new curves.  That dreaded day tuned into a confidence booster.  The first day on the lake I sat confidently on the boat and enjoyed the sun and water and have since purchased two additional swimsuits.  My goal for end of summer is a two piece.  Just need to spend a few more days at the gym first lol.

In May this year I wore a one piece swimming suit while I was in Florida. It was a villa with a pool so the only person who saw me was my wife. (It was her swimming suit.) The thing is I knew that hormones were imminent and the next time I'm in Florida I may not have the choice as rules seem quite strict in Florida, even on private property so I thought I best try. Well it was so much more comfortable than male swimming stuff. You can either wear those little speedo things or shorts which are just so uncomfortable when wet so I actually welcome wearing a woman's swimming suit in future.....but Ill buy my own.
Put me under a microscope what would you see?

I recently had the pleasure of wearing a one piece suit myself.  I was also amazed at how much more comfortable that it was.  I don't have any immediate plans of transitioning, so I'm still stuck in guy mode for the foreseeable future.  I would LOVE to be able to wear a one piece during my morning swim workouts with my masters swim team, but I don't have the courage to do so yet.  Maybe someday...

I wish I could look good in a bathing suit. My weight is a big issue. So are my body issues. I went swimsuit shopping with my girlfriend recently but I dread having to wear one. I did find a decent one-piece that fits me pretty well and is comfortable. But I have to get up confidence to go out in it.

Oh, swimsuits are pretty much the reason I avoid swimming like the plague even though I can enjoy it.
Darn, body image!

I'm going to be around a pool a lot soon. Previously I've never gone swimming after I came out years ago. But I started losing the shirt more often after working out harder, and had a doctor remark that I had very little breast tissue. I've gotten shirtless in the park before too and no one seemed to pay attention to me. I'm thinking I'll just sport it shirtless. I'll be around folks that know I'm trans and haven't had surgery but I do want the validation, good or bad.

Would it be okay if I posted a picture on here of me in my trunks? Because I would not mind some outside opinions. Peace.

Not had the confidence to wear a swim suit yet. been looking at some nice shapewear ones in M&S full body skirted ones but not plucked up the courage to buy one yet. LOL i think i will probably wait till next year when i have been on HRT for a while before doing that. But i am determined that i will do eventually.

I'm ftm & being a larger guy with ample chest, wearing a t-shirt and shorts is an issue once out of the water.  I may attempt some sort of binder this year though, as I miss the water.  :-\

Ugh!  Bathing suits are the bane of my existence.  I try and cover up as much as possible with a rash guard.
