We should totally hang out! I am over on that side a couple times a month. I am actually going there in a couple hours. Going to a babyshower for a good friend of mine. I have some friends there that want me to move there too. But, I love my job here aside from the possible drama surrounding me coming out. I also just bought a house and stuff sooo roots are going deeper. But I never know!

It doesn't matter what you are wearing honey, you look like a young woman enjoying herself to me. I wouldn't see a trans woman, just a young woman in leisure attire. Kazillions of cis women dress that way this time of year and so what?

Nah, when I stood up that skirt barely covered my butt. Barely. Even bending my knees lifted the skirt just enough to show my underwear, lol... I was pushing it, which is something I never do.

Keep in mind I'm pre op ......

Jenny, I live about 40 miles outside of West Hollywood, and go through it when I go to see my brother at Cedar Sinai Hospital. If I would have known about a trans pride day I would have gone, but I'm not connected out here in Ventura County. you look absolutely fantastic! How could anyone from five years ago recognize you? From one year ago? I'm just like you in that I still get really happy when people don't recognize the old me at all. Each time is just one more confirmation I did the right thing in transitioning. I've never looked back at my old existence as anything other than misery and I doubt if your past is much different. +1 Yes to what Miranda just said Angelique! My gut feelings about these vanity threads is that there is a lot of envy from the peanut gallery, don't feel dissed by it because we are all deeply flawed human beings and some just can't deal with other's great looks.

Ok, so my wife and I are separating after 9 years (very amicable and definitely for the best), my boyfriend broke up with me last week, and last night I just ended up breaking up with my girlfriend (yes, I'm poly).
For the first time in almost a decade I'm single.
Good gods, that means I' a single woman in her thirties!

Rowan, if you want to feel good about yourself just take a look in the mirror.  You're rockin' the 30's.. trust me I feel ya, I'm in the same boat.. and age range.. side note, if you ever roll though the Chicago area let me know, I'd love to do a photo shoot with you!
