Hi everyone!

My name is Dylan and I'm just another transguy trying to navigate my way through all of the aspects of transitioning and figuring out what comes next.

So a little about my experience?

I feel like I have always known that something isn't quite right. Ever since I was little, I was into very 'boy' things. I liked being outside and getting dirty and all that stuff and I just always felt kind of...manly? I guess that would be the word for it. As I got older I did go through some more feminine phases but it never lasted long. It wasn't until I was about 13 or so that I heard the term 'transgender'. I started to do some research about it and realized that it directly applied to how I always felt. Then around 14 I told my parents and they were in complete denial, which forced me back into the closet, so to speak(for a little while anyway). But by the time I turned 15, I decided I was gonna do what I wanted regardless of what they thought. So I started telling people my name was Dylan and stuff. It wasn't till right before my 16th birthday that my parents finally came around and I've been able to be 'Dylan' ever since.

This whole process isn't an easy one. In fact, I think its one of the hardest things that a person can be put through. But that's just my opinion.

Anyway! I'm rambling. I cant wait to really get involved on here and look forward to meeting all the amazing people that are here.

Stay strong everyone!

~Dylan

Hi Dylan, welcome to Susan's Place!  I'm up near Boston. Get busy posting and I'll see you around the site.  Oh, there may be some Australians stopping by. Wonderful people, they're picking up English quite nicely.  Just thought I'd let you know. Hugs, Devlyn
