Anna++

I threw a small party this weekend.  Well, actually, two parties (some people couldn't make it today so they came yesterday) and I was Anna in front of everybody the entire time!  I still chicken out when it comes to using my voice in front of groups of people, but I've managed to talk to a few friends over skype with it so I'm at least making progress.  I think I could do it live for one person, but a group just seems too scary right now.  But I'll get there eventually :).

For my birthday last week some of my friends got me a Sephora gift card, so before my party some of us went shopping!  I changed back into boy clothes for the stores, but it was still the most fun I've ever had shopping.  We started at JC Penny and picked out a bunch of stuff to try.  I got confused and awkward about changing rooms, so instead we just bought things and had a mini fashion show back at my place.  I kept two of the shirts we found, and the other girls kept some of the other things.  After Pennys we went to Sephora to teach me more about makeup and what to find.  I think I still remember some of the lesson... I'll probably need to be walked through it again.

Anyway, here are some pictures from my get-together this evening:

Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

Lookin' amazing, Anna!

You know I'm going to have to ask you to demonstrate that voice when we meet, right? :D
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

My other friends probably are, too.  Maybe I'll be able to if people are pressuring me to do it...

You look great Anna! Your right about the voice you will get there eventually it is tough talking in front of other people I know because I have the same problem but it can be overcome and you will.  :)

Anna! Welcome to the world of makeup all I can say is practice, practice, and practice some more. I've been at this for almost a year and I still feel like an amateur. There is so much more to makeup than can be learned in one lesson and everybody has a different approach to it. The trick is to find what colors match you best. But the trick to makeup isn't to use a lot but to use as little as possible to coverup what you don't want people to see while bringing out your natural beauty. So in other words less is more. Oh and another tip try practicing with cheaper brands until you get more comfortable with makeup and the look you want. Then bump up to the more expensive brands so you don't waste money on makeup. And just remember girl practice is the most important thing.  :)
