Keaira, you're another one that I think people don't comment on because you just look like a completely normal woman. I think that's the case a lot, is that those who look more "normal" get skimmed over.

And just let me say, you look gorgeous! You're a fantastic example of what we can all hope to aspire to be after several years on hormones, and I personally consider you a big inspiration because being female seems to come so naturally to you. I hope I can look as feminine as you do some day. You look fantastic, and in every single picture it just seems like you're absolutely loving life.

I can see what you mean. People tend to focus on the extremes, both negative and positive, and less so on the in betweens.

Everyone should always be feeling good posting their pics here regardless of the comments. It's like a celebratory history of when a person feels fabulous which becomes a part in a beautiful stream of photos.

It's a wonderful thing to see irrespective if someone leaves a comment. Although it is nice to hear / have confirmation, I don't think it should be the prime reason for rockin' some feel good pics here. This thread is a great thread. I remember when I started out what a huge inspiration it was / is.

Keaira, you look great. Extremely passable, cute, and looking very kindhearted with your smile.

barbie- I as well dunno what you're talking about too tight, those pants look wonderful on you.

Donna Troy- I love that color shirt, and your eyes and smile on the first pic pop right off the page. Lookin fab :)

Actually, until all the comments came in I thought there was something  wrong with me and everyone was too polite to say anything. o.O
I guess that's not the case. So, Thank you all for that.
I will edit this post later and add more when I can think properly. Caleb and I were watching 'Memoirs of a Geisha' together and we're both ready to fall asleep. Great movie btw if you haven't seen it.

Keaira, you look pretty damn cute to me here!!! Don't worry if nobody says something every time! It's happened to me too, and unlike some other ladies I didn't have the guts to say anything about it. Now I'm not going to worry about it. I'm sure there are other girls out there who've gone without comments too. I went from feeling "Do I Pass?" to "Am I Ugly?" to "Do I Pass Too Well for the girls to think I'm trans?" to "Who Cares?" to "I have to have faith in the mirror, my own looks and overall ability to BE female" all in about fifteen seconds. Don't let it get to you sweetie! Miranda

+1 Miranda is right hon, besides you look like any cis female I might meet at Starbucks or the mall. You and a lot of other women need to wrap your minds around the idea that the drop-dead-gorgeous women we see here are for the most part anomalies. We need to be happy for them, congratulate them for their outstanding looks and then move on and realize that many of us are just average normal looking women and probably fit in to the extent that no-one will notice us and focus undue attention on us in public. After all isn't that much more desirable in the long run?

Blah! Can I apologize for being more of a viewer in these forums? My work doesn't tend to allow for the time to reply on the pages I view. Donna, Keaira, and all others I haven't commented on directly- you all look so great! I know I've noticed that sometimes it's just the luck of when we post that it can go unnoticed.

And Keaira- I specifically remember one such post you had, where you said it didn't show any pronounced female signifiers, but clearly shows a woman. So awesome! I remember seeing this and being very happy for you! And I still am!

It is a beautiful movie. I liked 'The Last Samurai' too but while I loved it for it's depiction of Japan trying to hold on to it's identity as western influence takes a hold It still had that 'White Hope' issue that cropped up with Avatar, Dances with Wolves, etc. Memoirs focused on what is perhaps seen as a Japanese cultural icon. The music for it was especially beautiful.

I don't know...Because I wasn't "Should I be wearing a paper bag over my head?" worried. It was more of a "OMG the girls on here are jaw-droppingly gorgious!" type feeling.

I was worried, but not in the way you think. I'll explain better when I see you tonight.

I wouldn't say being female came easy to me.
I've come to the conclusion that it's best to just be myself and not to be afraid to express how I am feeling. Which was an ongoing battle for me and my last councilor actually. He said while I had nice, feminine mannerisms (Which actually shocked me and made me wonder if he was smoking some wacky tabaccy) All I gave him was my clinical side. I had an answer, a reason, for everything we discussed. Its taken a lot of time to bring my walls down. And I love life now. before, as a male, you'd be lucky if I wanted to even get out of bed in the morning. I hated my reflection in the mirror, hearing my old name made me cringe and I was pretty crabby most of the time. In fact, every time I saw myself in the mirror I was tell myself, "I hate you!"
So things have turned around quite significantly, but I still have a ways to go. Unfortunately it's all legal wranglings and cashflow related. Something we all have in common :P
But I will say that I had not considered that perhaps I pass well enough to not be considered trans. I really don't consider myself to be that passable. Especially when I talk lol. So you've given me something to think about. And don't worry Carrie. If your Avatar is anything to go by, you have nothing to worry about. you look great. ^_^

I really don't consider myself to be that passable. Especially when I talk lol.

You passed flawlessly when I was with you. Especially when the fitting room lady thought we were a couple, and gave me brief advice about women. :P She said to me "I bet you she is creative in getting you to do what she wants." And I said yes, because you do know me well. And she said "As long as she treats you good, and I bet she does. It's a two way street." She wouldn't have said that if she doubted either of our presentations, AND what she said is a very typical way people view cisgender, heterosexual relationships. So that's a total pass, and then you pass other times...

And you always get ma'am on the phone, when they can't see your face or your name. So ha.

Thx ladies for comments.

I am travelling to have some meetings.
Just ago I had short breakfast with graduate students after staying a night.
As I should walk a lot while carrying a big bag, no heels or skirt.
Just in dull mode.

Passing? What passing?
