I received both my court order of legal name change and court order of legal gender change! Squee!

Most don't need the order of gender change, but the state where I was born requires one in order to change the gender marker on my birth certificate. I've been waiting on all of this for a long time. It also was a major PITA process due to the fact most lawyers have zero clue how to file a "order for gender change". And they don't want to learn or be bothered with such issues either (little money in it for them). Even though I'm postop with a letter from my surgeon here in the US, it was a major mission to accomplish. Long story short, at least in Florida, you can file for yourself "pro se" (Latin: for represent yourself) to legally change your name and gender. This is done in Florida Family Circuit Court, for those interested.
No more having to look at that dude's name anymore.
