I think I made a new male friend today who isn't interested in getting in my pants.  :)

That's a real anomaly huh? Getting in your pants shouldn't be a part of the equation between you and someone who is sincere about being friends and if ever anything was to happen beyond that it would have to be your call and not his anyway.

My grandma who has had major issues with my transition did a few things today. She used the corrects name in front of my aunt, who does not support me. And after hearing a lady at the ice cream store call me "he", she has started correcting her own pronouns. She is reluctant, kind of muttering "him" but it is a huge step forward for her. I know it isnt easy. She was raised very strictly in terms of sex and gender roles.

I've only just topped up my dongle & this is a few days old but i'm still happy about it today.

On Saturday I went to London with FTM Diaries for London Pride, we were unable to get the same train so we met up at Paddington station, thousands of people lined the streets to show their support for all things LGBT.
The weather was scorching & many people kept topping up my water supply for Poopie, due to the heat I walked him close to the barriers to keep him in the shade & he had more fuss in those few hours than in his whole life, every few steps there was someone else leaning over the barriers to stroke him, i'm surprised he has any fur left on his head & back from the amount of stroking he had to endure.

The march went on for several hours, unfortunately i'd been stupid with my choice of footwear & by the end of the day I had a few severe blisters, it wasn't so much a case of having a blister on my little toe but more like having a little toe on my blister, YEOWCH!
It was an amazing day out & I strongly recommend that you should all attend next year if at all possible

At work today a patient who doesn't speak English said something to her son.  He turned to me and said she wanted to know what my secret is for being constantly happy.  Made my whole damn day.

Also, my car hit an average of 30 mpg.  I've been holding my breath for that to happen for weeks.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

A blah blog

Trip to the doctor's to hear my hormone levels. Last time he was disappointed. T & E were both in the male ranges.

This visit: E in the 700s. T around 20.

Chemically I'm 100% woman!

Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Isn't that just the nicest compliment anyone can give? ;D I have received something along those lines a few times, and it just makes everything feel perfect.

I volunteer at a therapeutic horseback riding program for special needs kids of all types, and it's always awesome. But it especially cheered me up today! Nothing like horses and happy kids (in this case, a group of amazing, hilarious teens).

Two things:

  • Replaced my windscreen wipers like a boss. This is the first thing I've had to fix on my current car, which I bought more than a year ago. My previous car needed a mechanic literally every two months.
  • Listening to isolated vocal tracks for various Queen songs. Hearing Freddie singing with no musical accompaniment just proves what an incredible vocalist he was. Under Pressure is eerie; but The Show Must Go On brought tears to my eyes. Freddie, you're sorely missed.

The fact that, despite all of the stupid crap with the insurance companies that COULD get me down, I'm not letting it happen. Screw those pencil-pushing losers. I'm going to chill to some jazz tunes and not stress over it.

How about "Stolen Moments"? Get the Zappa version for Sting singing "Murder By Numbers" over it.
