Here's something I've wondered ever since I got my first STP a couple years ago and even more so now that I have an STP packer.

So here it is: How do you pee? Like, do you pull your STP through the fly of your boxers/boxer briefs/briefs, pull the waistband down, or just pull everything down completely?

Also, when it comes to your pants, do you just unzip the zipper, undo your button as well, or pull everything down? What about when you're wearing a belt?

What about cis guys? (I think that's the right term. I wanna say guys who were born with a penis. Sorry if I'm wrong. I'm still learning. I hope I'm not offending anyone. = S) Do they just wip it out through their zipper or what?

Sorry if this is a stupid question; it's just something that I've been thinking about.

Unbuckle belt. Undo the button. Unzip pants. Pull junk out from over the waistband of your underwear. No need to pull your pants down Butters-style. Everything stays in place.

Pretty much nobody uses the fly of their underwear/jeans, it's always over the fence, not through the gate. Of course, there are exceptions.

Most cis guys that I know of just pull it through the zipper.  At least if they are standing at a urinal.  Who knows what they do behind closed stall doors

Not that men stare at each other to see what they are doing.  But you can't help but see when your in places where they use a trough to urinate in (like a sports game).

Yeah, most guys I know just go through the zipper. Just easier that way. Less hassle. But I don't think anyone's gonna judge you if you have another way of doing it that you find more comfortable.

Definitely undo belt and button IMO. I very rarely see grown men just use a zipper, little boys maybe, but rarely men.

Really? Maybe it's just the guys I hang out with then, but I rarely see a guy go through the effort of undoing everything.

Around here, men unzip their pants and pee, the move I've used my whole life is unzip with right hand, hook waistband of underwear with left thumb and push down, Mr Weewee comes out over the waistband of the undies and through the zipper opening.

Maybe depends where you are. In Glasgow and Vancouver, they tend to undo their trousers/pants.

To clarify, I'm in Boston. Default mens room etiquette still applies here. If the guy next to you unbuckles his belt, and drops the front of his trousers a bit, you still stare directly at the wall over your urinal, do your business and get out.

Oh yeah, you never look, but you can tell .

Just seems like a zipper would hurt, plus with an STP you have to reach a hand down to place your tubing or push the base against you.

I'm 51, and I haven't hurt myself on a zipper yet. Googling "man using urinal" gives a good indicator of what the majority of guys do. I did find a picture of four men at side-by-side urinals, one with his pants and boxers lowered. The caption was "Pants down at the urinal, seriously?" Interesting to note that the other three guys are obviously ignoring him. So pee how you want to.

Oh wait, I want to clarify that the guys (and myself) are merely just creating a bigger opening, not lowering their actual pants/boxers!  Haha!  Now THAT would indeed be most odd!  Lol

Devlyn Marie, I just wanna say that even though I've only been on this forum for a little while, I enjoy reading your posts. They always seem to either have good advice or be entertaining. Or both. Haha.

Jack_M, that's kinda what I've been doing. Although, I'll undo my belt, button, and zipper and then pull my STP through the fly on my briefs.

Another thing real quick, how come guys don't talk in the bathroom? I mean, I can kinda understand it since you're more exposed, but girls almost always talk when they're in the bathroom. Even if it's just while washing their hands. And what about if you go in there with a friend? Or do guys not ever do that?

Men don't talk because the bathroom is considered a place where you do your business and get out.  I entirely agree with this idea.  Nothing makes me cringe more than women chatting in the bathroom, especially in the stalls and ESPECIALLY when they start talking about hellweek!  URGH!

Talking in the bathroom is what pushed me to use the men's bathroom ASAP.  No talking; no eye contact; no idling; no messing around.  It's a far more efficient process.
