And when I say 20something i really do mean only twenty. My name is Saffron but I'm known by all of my friends as Ronnie.I turn 21 on the 31st of July. I have been looking for somewhere like this my entire transition and now I just wanna pop my feet up, have a cup of tea and call it home. I live in Leeds, UK and I don't really much of a glamorous coming out/spilling my t story. Long story short; I came out as gay when I was 11 and then when I was 17 I spilt my T. Things got kinda messy in my teens and I got addicted to all kinds of stuff and was on the game hustlin for money for food and bills. I moved out of my parents house at the age of 18 and now live with my boyfriend. I have been clean of drugs for 2 years now and I am a non smoker. I drink on the weekends with friends.

I'm looking for somewhere safe where i can talk to all different people of different ages and different stages of transition. I'm hoping I'm in the right place.

I have been on estrogen for 24 months now and have been getting testosterone blockers for like 6 months or something I don't really know. I legally changed my name on the 11th Feb 2011. I have SRS booked on the 29th August at Charing Cross hospital. My transition have gone pretty well. Things have moved fast and i pass regularly and haven't been gendered wrong in over a year (apart form on the phone).

Anyways I'm hoping y'all are going to accept me as your sister :)
Much love, Ronnie

Well, from what I've seen from my lurking, this is the place to be! Just about everyone is super supportive, and I know just being able to read some of this stuff has been incredibly helpful already. Hope everything goes smoothly with your surgery!

Hi Ronnie, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 11921 . That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
