Something been annoying me for a time.

Now the last 2 mounts I been studing guiding city history and all this stuff because I want to be able to work with turism or people of some kinds.
its originally something who where only for homeless people but now they have extend it so people with low money can also study there for a time, Still theres many homeless protjects and people around and I talk to alot of them, eating where they eat and all that.

Only problem I got is for a reason I seams extremly unpassable for homeless people.
I been on testrostorone for soon 2 years. I do look pretty androgynous, but I still fell the chance of not passing is Alot higher around homeless or ex-homeless people than the general population.

tecnically I could say I wouldn't mind cause i'm soon quiting as it end this mount and afterward im to take another education in another city, But it still wierd?

Am I really so unpassable in homeless comunetys compared to others? or have I just became less passable for the last half year?

That's funny because I have kind of noticed that sort of thing with homeless people as well. I haven't really seen many since I started hormones, but pre-T I used to see them all the time, and I noticed that they, more than anyone, really vocally emphasized my femaleness (if that makes sense how I worded it). They were a lot more likely to call me "sweetie", "miss", and so on than people who aren't homeless. I think it's something to be polite.

Also, I know that homeless people tend to talk to women more, or people they perceive as more feminine. It's a vulnerable situation, so you want to talk to someone you perceive as "safe." If you're not particularly masculine-acting, perhaps they translate some of those behaviours into "female" more so than other people would? Since they have to be more perceptive to body language for their safety.

I can report this observation seems to cut both ways.  If I had some compulsion to get clocked, experience has taught me all I need do is go to the poorer part of town.

Maybe homeless people pay more attention to the people around them if they're sitting on the streets and learn to notice the subtler parts of people?  Or maybe they've met more trans people than others have, because we can end up out of work and disadvantaged easier than cis people if things go wrong.

Just a few random theories.

das weird.
maybe it's just a coincidence. I'm always called miss or sweetie by homeless people when I'm walking by.

Same here Celectica, I seem to pass better around homeless people. Whenever I am in "guy mode" I always get called "sir" by homeless people even though I am not on T. Maybe it's because I live in a liberal area (Boston, MA/Providence, RI) where there are quite a bit of people who are gender-variant or openly gay walking around. I'd guess that I wouldn't pass as well in areas where it is more conservative.

I dont think theres the whole trans things I mean theres many diffrent homeless people for diffrent reasons but transgender often have a more difficult time because they do not feel wellcome in some of the homeless camsp who is very binary either men or women, and mtf are afraid to be lock up in the mens room with alot of homeless people who might have alcohol or drug issues and such things.

I guess maybe the whole behaving thing is the point, I dont behave very agressively actually im very claim, I know many guys in the homeless comunety often feel or are being threatneed by other guys either from the comunety or from gang members like Hells angels and so on. So most of the ruys are or have to be rought. also many of the girls look more maculine, many of them have short hair, even when many also try to pick up femenine clothing for themself, but we must admit its difficult to be homeless and walk in high hells all the time.
