I recently bought myself a copy of Creature From The Black Lagoon to add to my classic horror collection(sadly not very large) I have yet to watch it but I was wondering if anyone here has watched it and what their thoughts are on it?

I maybe 27 but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate classics ;)

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

That's a classic. I like the old war movies. Battle Of The Bulge, The Great Escape, Caine Mutiny, and I think my favourite is Stalag 17 or The Bridge On The River Kwai.

It was one of Ingmar Bergman's favorite films.  It was originally filmed in 3-D, but B&W!

Well haven't watched it yet been a bit hectic around here but hopefully I can snuggle into bed tonight and watch it(wish I had someone to snuggle with :( )...certainly have the weather for it at the moment with all the rain.

Funny, I was just thinking about this movie yesterday. I remember watching it on "Creature Feature" on Saturday afternoons as a kid...classic 1950's monster fare, monster walks slowly, women scream, etc. (Although I remember very little of the movie itself, like most things 40+ years ago).
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...
