Jeanette

Hi.

I'm Jeanette from Copenhagen, Denmark, 62 years old.

I'm allmost 4 weeks post-OP as of today and still recovering. I have started part-time work today, still having problems sitting on a chair for more than an hour or so, even using a bathing-ring for comfort. Sitting without my bathing-ring is out of the question for the moment.

I am one of the lucky few that got a permit and Government payed operation (less than 5 in average a year).

I work as an IT-specialist in one of the major companies in Denmark, specialized in IBM's Fully Formatted Printing Datasttream called MO:DCA, designing and programming systems to handle our customers data and modifying them to complete their documents.

So hi from little Denmark from a very happy though still a little sore girl.

A warm sunny southern California welcome to you Jeanette!  I hope all went well with your surgery, and that you will have a speedy recovery.

Thanks, Jamie.

My surgery has been without pain, stopped the perscriped painkillers on day 2, as there was no pain at all. Surgents and nurses have said that everything looks great, even if I find the swelling monstreous, but I can see that this is normal, so I'm relaxed on the matter.

Denmark is showing itself from the best, weather being sunny and temperatures about 23 degree Celsius (don't know how much that is in Fahrenheit, but it's nice and warm and comfy. :) ).
