Right now 6.5 months into HRT I've been noticing that the changes that are happening in my body are taking place but just slower than I expected them to. The biggest change that has occurred has to be that the hair on my head has gotten a lot thicker, completely grown back and is still growing back more. My body hair has been thinning a lot and has been so light as of late. My breasts are just starting to grow in, I got little buds under my nipples that just don't seem to grow that much. My body has slowly been getting softer and I'm even starting to develop curves. On the mental side of things I'm gaining such a peace of mind and also becoming very emotional even though I still don't cry much lol. It has honestly been such an exciting time in my life :)

Awesome :)

6 months is when I noticed things changing. Don't despair if things seem slow, I'm learning as I go along that you can't rush this, there's no fast-track, you just have to let the meds do their thing :)

Cool!  By the way, I can certainly see you have made a lot of progress judging from your Avatar.

Thanks. The avatar was my starting point.....my newer ones are a little different - mainly i use my own hair now. I've always had a 'girly' face just not hands size

I'm on my 70th day of HRT (Pellets) and here are the changes:
1-My breasts are growing and hurt. I have a Plus Cup with a 14.5 centimeter circumference.
2-My skin is changing, becoming smoother and thinner.
3-Facial changes are significant. Large, very large eyes. Softer features.
4-The start of a fuller butt.
5-Tired ALL THE TIME requiring frequent naps
6-My driving has gone to hell.
7-All the crazy is gone. No depression. No OCD. No dysphoria.
8-Love everyone and everything. Little aggression.
9-My hair is fuller and I can see male pattern baldness reversing.
10-I'm still sleepy :-)

Anyone feel like they're always hungry? Or is that just me?

No it's not just you my appetite has skyrocketed since I started hrt. Which is good and bad because I've gained weight but it has gone to feminine areas so I can't complain too much. ;)

Sometimes. I dread those moments, because I basically raid my fridge and end eating all that sh*t which I tend to avoid usually, knowing that I will have to jog another 10 km just because of five minutes of weakness :P. Yet, anytime I see something pickled, salty or vinegar, I cant stop until everything is terminated... Mostly, those are cucumbers and capers. Yeah, capers... :P
But, for example, yesterday I made butter-beans with fried chicken fillets for my family and I ended with eating beans and not being even able to look at those fillets. I just DID NOT WANT meat :P. Ate 6 XL size capers instead :P.

Haha yes! My favourite at the moment is either sushi or other japanese food in general, or the real kingpin being beef mince and onion pie with fish and chip shop chips. Oh my. I had a phase of eating a lot of pasta before that.

Mind you i have had to make a concerted effort to get more calories in. My appetite wasn't that great after a few months of HRT, but seeing how i could start seeing my ribs, i packed in a lot more meals. Generally i have been craving salty foods as well, i guess it's from the spiro which pretty much strips the body of sodium as much as it stores potassium. Oh, that and drinking more water.

Yes, craving salty food is deff an effect for which we have to blame spiro :).

Let's see, so far (10 months to the day!) I've noticed:

- Low/no sex drive
- Soft skin that is also much clearer and healthier overall. Gives me a sort of glow that makes me look younger and more feminine
- My hairline wasn't receding but I have the typical M-shape hairline. I've had some hair start to grow in the corners of my hairline.
- Breasts are constantly sore and have definitely grown. I started out as fairly overweight on top of having gynecomastia so as of now with hormones and about 30lbs of weight loss I have C cups.
- My upper lip has gotten noticeably fuller. I think my bottom lip has stayed the same but it was pretty full to begin with. My upper lip was very, very thin before HRT.
- Cheeks are a little bit puffier
- Certain areas like my arms and back have had noticeable decreases in hair growth and amount of hair, but other areas like my chest have been virtually unchanged
- Most importantly I feel so much happier overall!

Yes, Yes and Yes!
Just at 4 months my list includes:

1. What a happy feeling!
2. Much more relaxed and at peace with myself and others
3. That appetite and salt craving!
4. Lovely little breast
5. Softer skin and body hair
6. A wonderful sense of love and slow arousal vs. the old urgency
7. Seeing myself now in the mirror
8. Feeling so good about allowing myself to live and be free as me
9. A profound relief from the previously unacknowledged weight of repression and "acting like a man"
10. A considerably more positive future perspective.
11. Clothing and styles that fit and just make me hug myself with joy
12. Confidence and knowing that this is so right for me.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell that I tend to spend much more time in front of the mirror now. Possibly, the most important change so far ;)  ;D ;D ;D

Haha this is so true!!

Ever since I started seeing the more feminine me I always sneak a glance in reflections and mirrors lol.

Also I've taken like a million selfies over the past month haha.

Look in the mirror, fix your hair, straighten that annoying wrinkled shirt right above your bust...

6 months. Lots of changes...
Face is much smoother - even with my hair pulled back and completely M-ish there's a femininity to it.
Skin's smoother, lighter, thinner - bruises easily.
Body shape seems different - I have more curves than I remember and the merest hint of a proper waist
Appetite increased - though vaguely in check. I seem to crave savory things and not so much sweets any more.
Breasts went from little-B to big-B. Which I could use more of, TBH...
Body hair seems to be halved in number - not sure whether to attribute this to laser or hormones. Also lighter in shade.
Strength is much diminished. I have to really pull to open my CAR DOOR, for Chrissakes
Eyes seem much bigger. Which helps immensely with passing.
While I remain celibate, I find myself appreciating new roadside sights in these warm Wisconsin months. ^_^
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

Yes...constantly craving a particular food--chicken teriyaki with a simple "salad" on the side. I've always liked it, but in the past month I must've eaten it 10 times...the local places all know me now.

...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Well what can I really do?  Do you have any products that I can use to fix up my hair? As much as I love it, it gets rather messy and its too awkward to do anything with.
