Lilith Thorne

Hi everyone, I just registered today. I'm a young MtF living in The U.S., Utah. I've seen a few threads on the forum from some miscellaneous web browsing, and thought I should finally make an account to interact with this community a bit more. I go by Lilith, hence my username.

Am I supposed to be telling more about my situation here? Why not. I've always been a more feminine little boy, I never wanted to play with action figures and would rather play dress up with my aunt, never liked playing sports or hanging out with the other boys, and eventually I realized that i just didn't feel like a man. I settled into the idea that I was a girl, but didn't feel comfortable sharing that with anyone else. So I started to wear my hair longer, got into painting my nails and wearing light amounts of face makeup. People just thought I was doing average "goth" stuff and didn't give it another thought... Until one time my mother, out of the blue asked if I wanted to "be a girl". So I confessed everything. Despite her having asked that, and the many time I've re-admitted to being transgender, she still doesn't show any sign of empathy or understanding. So I've yet to tell any other members of my family, fearing a similar reaction from them. I've openly worn female clothing around most of my nuclear family and such, but I don't think they see that  identify as female.

Anyway, sorry for rambling and making such a giant wall of text. Look forward to meeting everyone and enjoying my time here.

Hello there, Lilith!  A warm sunny southern California welcome to you.

Utah does have transgender services, particularly if you are near to SLC.

Thanks for the welcome :)

I'm a ways away from SLC, so sadly I wouldn't be able to make it there on my own (at this point in my life, at least) and probably wouldn't have any money for any sort of services that have a price tag. I've looked around on the internet, but it seems like I can't find any reliable information for services in my area.
