Recently, I have gotten to a state where I don't care if I pass or not.  I really don't like going around looking androgynous or male anymore but, I need my job to live... but its really getting to be hard to go back to guy mode 5 days a week... *head explodes*

I went to work mostly like

iphone pic quality leaves something to be desired.  ::)

Think its time to come out at work because at the rate I am going I am just going to end up fired anyway.  Was another trans working there and got fired weeks after coming out... they did come in late alot and called in often but,  they were a 6 year employee just continuing habits that hadn't got them fired in the past.

Its going to be a huge step emotional to go full time. Just a FYI if you are in the states the EEOC just made a ruling that transgenders are covered under the sex part of the discrimination law. That also is a huge help because that covers across all states. I know there has been many states that have added there own anti discrimination laws to cover transgenders.

For me i was like you, hated the 5 daytime male role and wanted full time asap. But a suggestion and its what i did get a few ducks in a row. I think name change is something you should get done before going  100% full time. I feel this makes people look at you more as being true and not a phase. I know that might sound funny but people are sceptical of everything now days and you will hear its a phase thing amy times in your life.

I wish you well what ever you chose to do. Fulltime and transition is not going to be at all easy. For me it was the hardest thing i ever did in my life. Just hold onto your hat, its going to be a very bumpy ride. Once you get to that place in your mind all is now good life is so great.

I know many full time trans women who don't pass at all but who are very happy with their transitions. I say, go full time when you're ready and be yourself.

That's what I did.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?
