Hey everyone, I've been perusing this site for some time now and just finally joined. Last weekend I finally told my family that I am an ftm and everything that goes along with it. I've been holding this in for years now and I was so scared to tell them but I had my girlfriend's support along with my sister's which was a huge help. To my pleasant surprise, my parents apparently had know for some time and are supporting me through this transition. When I heard them say they support me and still love me I could actually feel all the burden and weight that I've been carrying from this just leave my body. I'm finally going to be able to live MY life and not the life everyone else wants me to live. I definitely have questions and want to talk to my fellow ftms along the way which is why I wanted to join the site. I'm hoping to change my name soon, I'm really loving the name Tripp.

Hope all is well with everyone. Thanks for reading.

For how could I ever ask someone to love me as a woman for my body, if I can't even love my body as a woman for myself?

I'm trying not to be quite so shy and started posting more recently, I hope you're able to do the same.  ;)
