I just felt like sharing my progression. I found some good pictures that are all from different years and not too close together. I started T July 2011 and had top surgery January 2013.

Jun 2010                                                                       Nov 2011

^^^ That lovely blonde is my SO of 5 years and best friend of 7 years.

These are from today. I'm on a canoe team at work and we completed our second qualifying round. I also bought some stuff since it's the 50th!

I feel pretty great about my trasition.

Thanks spacerace!

The sideburns were easy. The beard... Not so much.

You look pretty awesome! As for the beard, I understand that Asian/Native American guys don't have as much hair. And anyway often takes more than a couple years.

Awesome!  I'm jealous of your side burns (and of the fact you're at Disneyland my favorite place on Earth).... they're seemingly the last thing to come in on me.  Its started at my chin and worked its way outwards along my jaw (and starting to fill in on the face), but has yet to get past about mid-ear.  Super weird.

Great progress though man! lookin good.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

@GnomeKid: I'd be cool letting you in and hanging out if you love it so much. I'm not sure where you're from though. :P

@aleon515: I'm not sure, but I think it's safe to assume that you think I'm either Asian or Native American. I am actually 1/2 Mexican and 1/2 Puerto Rican. I am frequently mistaken for Filipino, so the "Oh, you're Asian." bit isn't new. I've never been mistaken for a Native American though. That's pretty awesome in my personal book of awesome things.  ::) Anyway, I am hoping for (expecting) a beard since I've gotten furry all over. I'm nowhere near as hairy as my own dad though. He's seriously got like an inch of curly hair over his shoulders/chest/belly area and a very full and thick beard.
If I'm wrong in thinking that you thought I was either of those things, then I apologize. Though I don't think you nor myself were offended in any possible way.

Actually IF you are Mexican then you most likely have Native American (you know Mexico is in North America), so the genetics are the same. In the case of hair, it doesn't matter how you identify.

I think I should have used the word IF. One should not make assume anything makes an a** of  u and me and all that. Cheers!
Anyway I just said you look great, so how offended would you be? :)

Right? Can't be mad at compliments.  8) I do doubt being part Native American though. That side of the family is from the heart of Mexico so I'd expect more Aztec, most likely for the area, or some other indigenous group that was around there.

Well Aztec is indigenous (like Native Americans) and not European, so that's my point. You sound like a nice healthy mix. :)
