So the MMO FFXIV is out (again) August 27th on both the PS3 and PC.

I've not been interested in MMO's for a long time but as a long term Final Fantasy fan I'm going to get into this, as it looks to be an excellent game.

Anybody else going to be playing?

It looks great, but lol at sub fees.  I could spend that money on about one million more logical things.

I never got into Final Fantasy years ago. I tried two versions on PS2 and one or two versions on PSP. I think now i would enjoy them. I hope to check this out. I want to buy a PS3, so i will most likely save it until it i do. I would probably roll as a Miqo'te or Roegadyn. I think you can switch in and out classes, right? I think i will aim for the jobs Black Mage, Summoner, Dragoon, and Warrior

Sub fees have always been a fundamental part of MMO's until recently. FFXI had and still has sub fees, as does WoW. As a long term MMO player I'm always willing to pay the fee if I find the game worth playing on a long term basis.

Yeah I want to play Miqo'te as well, they're incredibly cute. And yes you can switch jobs, so it saves you having to have multiple characters, which is great. I'm going for white mage, I always love to heal

I am going to try and get into the last beta. Some person i started talking to mention they had been in the beta, and will play with me in the next beta, so yeah. I am sure i had a question he couldn't answer, but now i have forgotten it 

My friends and I are planning on setting up shop on Diabolos server.  I know I'm going to be a Mi'quote named Jaelithe (Surname pending me making up my mind) and I'm likely looking at the Arcanist/Summoner class for my primary, as I loved being a SMN back in FFXI.

Just started out in the Beta Phase 4 today. I'm definitely liking ACN so far.
