Firstly, apologies if in the past when people offered advice for me in the Do I Pass threads that I came off as antagonistic. I'll try not to do so from here on out.

Secondly, I'm getting really really close to passing, but unfortunately, my genetics gave me a huge brow bone that I have to somehow deal with. I don't mean to derail people with legitimate disabilities, but for me it feels like one, because it feels like it's just a huge stumbling block on my transitioning road.

I've pretty much come to terms with the fact that if I don't want to wait another couple years on HRT, I'll probably have to use hairstyles to cover it up. I'll post a few pictures on here to show where I'm at right now:

As you can probably tell, my biggest issue is from the side, as from certain angles (with my hair back), I unfortunately don't pass at all. And the poor lighting in 3 of the 4 pictures certainly brings out all my unwanted features. Also, I'm not going out of my way to look feminine in these pictures, so you can consider them "in boy mode."

I'm planning on cutting my own hair, I've done so in the past with decent results, so does anyone have any recommendations as to how I can create a hairstyle that look feminine while covering the front and sides?

You need bangs. There are many examples on the internet:

You're not being shallow. You have quite a heavy brow. Do you intend to have FFS in the next few years?

Yes, I know I need bangs, but I suppose I'm asking what kinds of bangs would work best.

And FFS is my far away dream due to money concerns. Right now I'm focused on what I can do with hairstyles and bangs and whatnot.

Have you tried an application like this one? It'll give you a rough idea, at least.

Another good app is TAAZ. But maybe I just don't like InStyle magazine lol Voge and Marie Claire are so much better!

Anyhoo, you're going to want a style that draws attention away from your brow. Go for a style like a mid-length bob that is strategically layered with side-swept bangs to make your face appear softer while hiding your brow. Also, avoid just snipping the hair straight right across the brow giving you Cleopatra bangs. By point-cutting them (taking chips out the ends) you'll create texture and make your face appear softer.

Another thing you can do is to go for some dramatic eye makeup with heavier eyeliner and some bold shadow or just go with a the smokey look which is great on any woman IMO.

Hair style, eyebrow work and makeup do wonders.  And hormones softens things a lot.

And forgive me for asking, but I haven't been around for a few months.  What do you mean by this?

Bangs are good.

I also wear glasses with large frames. Not so fashionable, so I had my lenses in sunglass frames. Helps deemphasize my brow.

I also wear hats from time to time.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

The reason I'm posting this topic is because I tried these but they gave me less than satisfying results, but thanks anyways!

Thank you very much! Great advice. :)

I've been on HRT for 14 months now. The pictures, once again, are unflattering, so it may seem like otherwise.

Thanks! I'll think about sunglasses!

Any other hairstyle tips?

If you can afford it, I seriously suggest an experienced hair stylist to get you started. They can get your appropriate style cut and in future you can continue the style yourself.
