I didn't know "vag" is a word.  I'm going to find reasons to use it more often.

Vag ya later

If we become desensitized to these people, we are doing a disservice to ourselves.  For there are many people who do listen to them and believe them.  Unfortunately, this is the same strategy that was used in Nazi Germany while Hitler was rising to power.  No, we are not Nazi Germany.  But once your get a good part of the population behind you for emotional reasons, you don't need to reason.

Remember that ole Adolf was elected with only 30 percent of the vote (or something like that, I'd welcome someone providing the correct number).  He didn't even need a majority of support to do the things he did.  Once he gained control of the government, no one could object for fear of their very life.

He was propped up by propaganda and hate... just like we see now... there is no difference in that aspect of what was and is going on.  He slowly took away basic rights until there were none left. No one objected while this was going on.  And look at where it led.

The voices that serve this slop are serving to do this very thing in our society.  If you aren't involved in writing your congress people and other political venues to put an end to the current administration, then you deserve what's in store for you... utter subjugation. Enjoy.

Part of the reason that the hatemongers are against the mexican immigrants is that those immigrants aren't going to just fall in line.  You need a really homogeneous population to get the best subservience.  I think. The immigrants want a good life that accepts differences in people.

Note that the word 'homo' is in the word that describes what the haters would prefer as a society. I wonder if I told them that if they would get all uptight and start allowing for a heterogeneous society.  [snicker]

Actually, the current administration wants  to keep the immigration situation as it is.

It's the current incarnation of slave labor.

If everyone had to pay a living wage for workers, there would be citizens lining up to do those "jobs that no one wants to do."

My solution to immigration?  Mandate minimum wage for EVERY job. Every  worker pays standard taxes, FICA and Medicaid and also receives corresponding benefits. Every employer pays employment taxes. Let the IRS enforce the laws  That would turn corporate America on its ears.

The administration wants the status quo, but the chumps that it represents seem to want no immigration. That's why some of these politicians blew off Iraq, but are standing up to criticize "their own president" because they think the immigrants want to give us leprosy and VD. and, of course, they want to limit the number of brown skinned peoples.

I should have specified that in my last post.

Wow, Ann Coulter to Rush to immigration to vaginas to slaves.  This is some kind of thread.

Is she crazy?  Not at all.  She knows exactly what she is doing.  She is the Howard Stern of the far right.  She's selling a book, pure and simple.  How many of us would have even known about it (much less cared) if she hadn't ripped Elizabeth up?  She's mean spirited, bigoted, and egotistical, but not stupid.  I, for one, do not care to become like her by attacking her.  If you are doing that,  you are giving her more publicity, and hurting your cause more than helping.  She would be proud of this thread.  It's just the kind of thing she was hoping would happen.

We're not buying her stuff.  And thanks for reminding me to use my new word in the next sentence.  "I hold my ann coulter opinions as a vag of honor".

I think this is an appropriate place to use your word.

Irish author Brendan Behan once said, "There is no such thing as bad publicity except your own obituary."  Personally, I find it to be quite true in Ann Coulter's case.

Peace,

Ann Coulter? She's a bimbo Nazi. Rush on estrogen (or maybe not). If this is the best the big scary Red states can cook up, well no wonder I spend most of my time laughing at Fox News.  ;D

I guess Coulter thinks she's hot stuff by name calling on the TV. BUt I suppose I shouldn't complain because I can be just as bad.....ooga booga  :icon_chainsaw:

Absolutely not.

Ann Coulter is trying to sell Ann Coulter.  She knows she outrages some people.  She knows her ideas are moronic and simple-minded.  This is a very intelligent woman who is having a very successful career by being a douche bag.  And there is nothing wrong with that because this is America damnit and douche bags are protected under the constitution
