P.S. My result after 36 years in the country

You got 158 points.

You've finally lived long enough in France for other people to notice your existence!

QuoteYou got 69 points.

I see you had French 101. You have had enough French that the French will actually speak back to you. (In English, of course.)

I took French 101 in college, and got a C, then I took French 102 and got a D. We were required to take three semesters of a foreign language at that college, so after my D I decided screw taking French 102 again and then 201, so I just transferred out of that school.

The only thing I got out of taking French is a few words here and there, and an appreciation for Tomas Fersen.  :) J'adore Louise. <--I probably butchered that sentence.

This test actually had me p...ing myself laughing. Also quite challenging as it happens, you have to think!  Pretty sure it was put together by some perfidious Brit.  :)

Lol, some of those questions are very obviously tongue-in-cheek.

My wife's score. She has been living in France for 14 years:! Being "Blue, blanc, rouge" is a tougher call than being a "Hard Core American"..

You got 120 points.

Congratulations, you are as French as Audrey Hepburn! You could "Parlay-Voo" your way into getting mocked by any waiter in France without being pitied.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Je suis découragée. Je n'ai reçu que quatre-vingt-douze points. Évidemment, je ne suis pas assez française. :embarrassed:

J'ai séjourné dernièrement à Montréal et j'ai pu constater combien c'était quand même un autre monde.  Petit à petit, la dérive des continents fait son œuvre!
Sinon, j'ai beaucoup aimé et y retourne très bientôt, le 18 août.

Not bad considering I've only spent a few nights in France.  I did do three years of French in high school but the only reason I passed the third year was that the French teacher escaped at the end of the second year.  Since we weren't learning anything, the school decided to give us all a pass mark.  Imagine how well pupils would do if teachers did not exist at all.

I must conclude that I did quite well because I've seen every episode of 'Allo 'Allo at least once.
