Well, seven months of HRT and seven months of continuous breast pain.  Sometimes it's not bad, other times, it's bad...a simple bump can bump can almost bring tears.  I've had to change my workout routine so I don't jump.  Swing dancing in style is out.  (American smooth is still in.. :) )

I know they will always be a little tender but this isn't "a little tender".  How long will they keep hurting???
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

As long as you are still making new tissue.  Years, possibly.

Mine only ever feel tender under the nipple and never too bad I have to squeeze em to feel pain. It feels like a bruise. That's exactly what it feels like.

Even though these breasts are still growing a little they only really hurt once in a while.  But they are often sore from sagging sideways after a night of sleep.  And surprisingly even a mammogram doesn't seem to hurt like other women say.   I think people experience pain differently, and in some cases barely even feel some types of discomfort.

Pain level is like when a person breaks a rib without puncturing a lung.  I've done that...  Glandular tissue is about 2" in diameter, conical and ¾ inch at the apex.   Quite extensive.   Hitting them or pinching them is like the pain of a broken ankle and lasts for about 4-5 minutes before it goes away (I've done that as well).  Actually, I can go off E for about 24 hours and the pain stops.  Unfortunately, my mind gets really weirded out after about 36 hours.  I haven't been able to make 48 hours.  Wow, I'm an E addict.  This is very bizarre.

Years?  Wow.  Better than the disphoria I suppose.

I think You are exaggerating... I have done that too - and I did not know that at time - 15 mins of feeling like someone has punched You in kidneys really bad, sitting down, not being able to straighten up and hollow breathing. After that pain is gone. Bumping with bewbs into something is entirely different sensation... Not that I am judging Your experience, but... :)

I haven't seen you post since I came back.  I was told you asked if I wanted to bring up breast stuff again in April, (kathy.b, you still around?), but I had already closed my account.   So I set up a new account for a few months this summer.

Yeah, a few other girls get pissed when I tell them about this odd pain level thing.  It's strange because normal activity and slowly applied pressure doesn't hurt, but any real sharp poke or the couple wood splinters I've had were followed by killer pain.  Yet it's different from what I've gotten from injuries.

But to go back to April.  Yes, I always like to discuss my breasts since my life turned around a bit.  I love what's happened to them, and never hide their size now.
