Hello, I will be starting a class which requires working out, using machines aerobic, etc. My main concern is where to shower of course seeing as I have not had top surgery yet and another big concern is binding. Now I've been told its not a good idea to wear it while exercising because it gets tight and hard to breath. I know that it gets bothersome and itchy after a while also may ride up. I want to know if there is something I can wear while exercising that will let me exercise with ease and also that won't be noticeable. I know there are certain sports bras, but I really want something that is not noticeable I already pass a lot and it would be embarrassing, you know. My size is a about 36 c unfortunately so don't know if I can without being noticed. Or maybe there is a certain way to bind?

Please give any suggestions you think will help please and thank you.

It depends on the binder you're using and how you breathe. If you breath from your diaphragm (moving your stomach area, not your chest), then a binder that only covers the chest area should be fine to work out in. It will be sweaty though, and depending on your range of motion can itch or ride up. If you do go with a sports bra, wear a looser-fit, dark colored T-shirt over it to minimize its appearance.

http://www.ftmguide.org/lockers.html <- there is a good portion on locker rooms beneath the swimming part.

I would recommend bathing at home, but that's just because public showers are a breeding ground for germs.

Do you have an old binder?  I use one that's around 3 years old and has loosened up a lot when I know I have to be active.  If not I'd go with a sports bra.
