ok that subject is really ennoying me and make me really angry and i'm sure a lot of u guys have the same problem, the subject is '' you r not trans enough'' or '' mens dont talk like that or dont do that'' ok i'm 100% manly and i pass pretty well and everybody know that and i'm a straight guy ,but when i talk everybody start tell jokes about how i talk and they be like, dude u talk like a femal, even when i laugh and that one of the reasons i stop using skype cause im done of hearing this sh*** ,i can't controll my laugh and how i talk maybe cause i grow up in a feminin family,''dad was here all my life but he didnt treat me like his son ofc ,so for him i'm just one of the family femals, anyway what u guys thing i mean what things suppost to do ,i dont have male friends i dont know how i suppost to treat a male bro,and i dont want anyone to thing that i'm gay ,i will loose my mind if anyone start to think that cauuse i'm not one,i respect gays but i'm not that way and that make me crazy when someone think that cause of the way i talk..
Sometimes, it's hard to find words to tell you how much you mean to me. A lot of times, I don't say anything at all. But I hope someday, you'll understand, having you is what I live for...(I Love you my Queen )

Sorry I am on skype right now so a bit difficult to look it up myself but check out you tube, I know that there are good resources for mtf. Even if there aren't ftm voice training videos check out the mtf, who knows it might help.

Watch action movies or TV shows. The men in there tend to be pretty damn manly.

There really aren't that kind of thing for FTMs as the T does most of the stuff. OTOH,a lot of Ftms pass as gay. I don't personally care, but I understand your safety may be a concern. I agree re: watching guys and "guy" movies esp from the US.
I don't care for any of the "not trans enough" meme.

My therapist mentioned something like this today. She said all men have some feminine qualities. And all girls have some masculine qualities. Her husband paints his nails. Doesnt mean hes gay or a girl. People have so much variety you cant say that you either fit mold a or mold b.

About your voice, if it really does bother you you can try to record it and work on making it sound more masculine. Just practice itll become second nature eventually.

Salam!

Sorry guys for butting in... so as long as you don't mind my behind, lol.

Anyways hun, habib, I feel that it is all about immersion. Whether that is by watching films that are traditionally 'male-oriented' or hanging out with other men, it does take time to be part of the 'culture'!

Some people are lucky to be able to immerse themselves easily in male/female culture. I myself was very lucky to also be part of female culture growing up, from childhood to teenage years, and onward. For some others, it does take a little learning and effort.

The hormones will affect your voice for you and make it lower. If you are not on hormones already, in the mean time just immerse yourself in the male speech of your culture. The more you do it, the more it will stick in your head, and you will end up talking like them! ;) Continue to talk to other men in your community, watch movies or films with male characters and listen to them, and the speech pattern will just come in time.

If you can not make male friends because of social problems - then Youtube, movies, tv, radio, etc. can help.

Be patient, honey! Transition takes lots of time, patience, effort, and faith in yourself.
