So, I'm looking around, setting up hopeful consults with various surgeons, mostly in the US, for next August. I'd much rather spend more money than risk a lesser result, so I'm wondering who has the best success rate? Form, function, percentage rate...?

I know of McGinn, Reed, Bowers to start with - McGinn is $18.5k, Reed is $14.5k, and I don't know about Bowers.

Does this suggest better results from McGinn?
Also, any suggestions from the fine folks who've done this before?

I'm hoping for McGinn myself. She expensive and I don't have that much money but I figure if I'm going to have to live with the results of this surgery the rest of my life I want the best so she's the one I want.

That's what I was thinking. But she does have some negative reviews too, which made me less sure.

I don't think your going to find any surgeon with a 100% satisfaction rating. But it really doesn't hurt to shop around though its your surgery and your going to have to live with the results so I say money shouldn't be an object just try to find the best. 

Well, i am hoping for you and that everything will go as planned.

Bowers is around $23,500 as of 6 months ago.
Brassard is $19,500 as of 6 months ago.
Meltzer is $25,000... requires 2 procedures 3-4 months apart.
Supporn is $18,000.

I went to McGinn. She's middle-upper middle as far as price. Her work and results are above average. I've heard very little in regards to negative past patient experiences. I can most definitely recommend her w/o any reservation.

You will find her to be a great person. Remember she is one of us. She was on the surgical team that did my breast implants (she was doing her Surgery Residency with Dr. Leis in 2005). She also served in the military (pre).  She was 2nd on my list behind Dr. Brassard.
