Sorry for jumping into your post-op pages.
I am pre-op and now pretty much set on having Dr Brassard do my SRS next year.
His assistants e-mail states no need for electrolysis prior to surgery:actually it states none is better than too little.
Are there any girls here who went to Dr Brassard? If so have any who didn't have electrolysis clearance before surgery with him experienced hair growth in inappropriate places??
My deciding factor I think.
Thank you in advance, Collette Michelle

I am a Montreal girl. Had mine done just little over 4 months now and had 0 electrolysis done down under. My husband said he has not seen anything growing inside or where it should not be. If it was going to happen it should be seen being all that is on the outside has re-grown.

Lots depends on how much of the scrotal skin they need to use. Most of the V and labia majora is made using the shaft skin and no hair there.

I am happy with Dr. B. I have up to this point not a major issue.   I also live in montreal so did not have to do the long travel.

I went to Brassard somewhat over a year ago, and I took his word for it.

Zero regrowth, and it seems likely that by now I would have seen something if there were going to be. It may be because he basically didn't use scrotal skin inside; all of that originally hair-bearing skin appears to have been used to make the outside of the labia majora (which has hair in cis women, too). Regardless, I picked him in part b/c I didn't want to do genital clearing, and I haven't regretted it so far.

My heartfelt thanks for your replies so far. I dont feel there is anything else for me to know in order to make my decision.
I will discuss the final decision with my Maitresse but it looks as if I am Montreal bound.
Exciting for me also as I left Montreal in 1982 and it will be terrific to visit a few old places.
