As requested, here's a link to a chapter from my current work in progress... sort of. It's modern fantasy that involves shape-shifters and forbidden love. Though it doesn't have trans characters per se, I think there are elements of it that trans folk will be able to relate to. For instance, one of the characters only recently discovered he's a shifter and some of the side effects on his body are causing him to experience a fair amount of dysphoria. I have some ideas for stories I'd like to write that feature trans characters prominently. I don't know yet whether they will be novels or (albeit long) short stories.

This was intended to be the first chapter but I've since revamped the outline and it no longer fits with the timeline. Now it's more like fan-fiction of my own work if that makes any sense. Victor is one of the main characters but he will be an adult at the beginning of the story as I have it now. At most, we might get a tiny bit of this in back-story. But it's true to his character.

BTW, this is NOT the character who experiences dysphoria. That would be the protagonist. Victor is a (the?) primary supporting character.
