I am sure that like myself, many other people on here have spent some time watching or reading about the transition of others. The rate of changes in people after starting T definitely varies based on genetics and other factors, but after reading up on all this while I made a decision and started my transition, there are a few anecdotal things I have noticed that seem to be shared by people with really good T results.

-weekly injections
-working out during transition
-losing weight before and during if necessary
-longer (but still relatively short) male haircuts tend to help people pass better
-people who do subQ shots seem to get very consistent, early results

also anecdotal tips:
-shave your face everyday at first
-drink tons of water to help with skin issues

Anyone notice anything else? Also just want to stress that this anecdotal and obviously does not apply to every situation

The only part of that list I did was lose some weight.  I've  had no skin issues, not sure what you mean by that.

Injection intervals are usually 2 weeks, not one and work well for many so not sure where that comes from. Some people have needed to alter it but I would not say most.

Hair cuts are all up in the air I think as facial features play a role more than hair length. (Mine is still below my waist.)

SubQ doesn't seem to be the standard either and many have good results. I do agree that injections do seem to get better results for most and be more affordable.

Actually, there are lots of people that do weekly shots.

Yes, SubQ is a new-ish - part of the reason I noticed those people seem to get good results, as there are not many doing it yet.

By skin issues I meant acne.

yes, of course, people with 2 week intervals of IM shots and no weight loss can have fantastic results and pass wonderfully with flowing long hair.

More so, I meant that people with 1 week intervals, that work out and lose weight, that do SubQ shots seem to, as a rule, have good results.

My point is that people who do bi weekly IM shots, work out, and lose weight do just as well, for some even better, some not.

Yes many do weekly or 10 day intervals, yet most on here are bi weekly.

They both seem to have good results.  Your anecdote is only an anecdote, nothing more.

Title of thread: anecdotal evidence

Was I unclear on this point?

Nope,  I just have a problem with the "evidence".

Look - I don't know how this turned into argument.

I don't disagree with anything you have said, and I tried to explain that, yet you keep thinking I am disagreeing with you.

LordKAT

Sorry you feel it is an argument, I feel differently.   It is possible to disagree and not be arguing.

We don't disagree though - I have said that twice now.

Our points do not contradict.

You: People with 2 week intervals have great results.

Me: Yep, of course they do.

I was just trying to say, hey anyone else notice that people who work out, or those with SubQ shots on weekly intervals have great results almost as a rule? Not - "people who don't do it this way have bad results"

Care to point out the disagreement I am clearly missing?

LordKAT

And I have agreed with you. You brought up the argument part,
