German law allows child's sex to be listed as 'blank'
Aug. 16, 2013 at 2:03 PM

German parents will soon have the option of selecting "blank" as the sex on their children's birth certificates, a report says.

The law, which goes into effect in November, allows children born with traits of both sexes to determine later in life with what sex they identify...

Germany is the first country in Europe to introduce the option of an indeterminate sex.
