A graph I made to describe gender dysphoria following laser hair removal treatment

I'm on day 6 and feeling better already

Mine's similar, but it goes up before treatment when the hairs start growing out, and 'pizza face' only lasts a day. :)
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

I think you have it spot on

I personally hate the period where the hairs are really obvious day 2-5.
They look like melted plastic.

Always love the shedding knowing that's the last time I will see that one. :)

Have another session this weekend.
In a way I do like it even though it hurts.

So long and thanks for all the fish

For me the shedding starts around day 8.
And about 3 weeks later new hair start showing up again  >:(.
I will have my 5th treatment soon. First 3 sessions were very painfull, but I knew it is a good thing to do  :)

And my question is,  how long is the period between treatments in your case?  I am usually leaving 2 months between sessions.
My real name is Monika :)

Pizza face...I get the post laser redness followed by a 6-7 day acne breakout (and I have not had acne in 20 years). My dysphoria lasts a full 10-14 days post laser.

I go 6 weeks between sessions. On my 4th one in a couple of weeks.

The last one I had was session 7, and finally the pizza face didn't hit me as hard = thank you, universe!!!

I still had some redness- but only a few teeny tiny pimples :)

The goal was to time it so that the first day I get to burning man is around the same day laser dysphoria disappears completely. No thank you to shaving in the desert.

Oooooh, Burning Man, do tell us about it!

I just finished session 6 on a four-week interval.  They had been upping the power each time and it seemed to be getting much more tolerable in terms of pain so I figured I was making major progress.  However on the last session they told me the hand piece on the machine had been replaced since my previous time.  It felt almost as bad and the first session and at a much lower power now that the damned thing was working right again!  I'm hoping not much time was wasted with the defective handpiece.  I can at least say that most of my neck is clear now except for the white hairs of course.  The mustache is thoroughly stubborn though. :'(
