:D Hiya. I'll go by Noiro whether it's feminine or not, who cares? If I made another account I"d likely forget it. Anyhow, I'm a bit new to this though I've kinda had an idea I was TS for a while (well...I knew something wasn't right, I just didn't know TS was a thing). That being said, I'm still kind of fighting with how heavily this influences me as I don't feel like it is going to eat me from the inside out as many people put it, but since it was not until very recently that I found out, I dunno.

At the age of 5-6, I was in bed one night and was literally crying because I wished I had been born female. I was never the most manly kid....I was famous for *cue high-pitched whiney voice* "STOOOOOP IT". :P As I grew older, the need dissipated but I"d occasionally have a random "I wish I were female" or "damn it, I'd love to be able to act like that and not be judged" go through my head, but it was not all that strong. It just kinda recurred. At the ripe ole' age of 19, I was reading around and the subject of ->-bleeped-<-/transsexual came up and that was when I had a light bulb moment. It made sense (mostly, still working out the details.....I'm new to this). So yeah, if you managed to follow all of this by now, I thank you much.  :)

Also, I'm not sure if I should transition or not due to...the obvious difficulties/struggles/emotional hell involved and I basically struck a deal with myself that if my dysphoria became bad enough over time (I have one and a half years before I can do anything anyway (when I'm finally off on my own)), I'd transition, otherwise, I'd likely be better off as is and just deal with it internally.  I'm fairly sensitive to the opinions of others....so being judged by...everyone....would not do my emotions a whole lot of good.  :-\

Anyhow, if you managed to get through that epic story, I hereby present you an honorary hug, handshake, whatever floats your boat and I take my leave in hopes to see comments/advice/questions/etc.

*Bows*

P.S. I edit my posts a lot and this captcha will likely drive me insane.
P.S.S. Any advice specifically of things I could do in the year and a half I have left which cost very little money in the event I do end up having to transition?

Welcome, and GIANT hugs.

Strike the balance that feels right for you, even if that doesn't match up with what you would consider the "usual". Honestly, there is no set path that one must take to be able to transition "right", or to be able to say they are trans*. If you find a place of contentment then that is enough, and therefore perfect.

Hi Noiro, welcome to Susan's Place! I'll bet if you made another account you'd call it Orion? See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn

In a weird way, I kinda overthought it a bit. Orion means hunter, so I kinda felt like Backwards Hunter fit a little bit as I"m not the most normal pea in the pod. But that's far too long, so I just turned Orion backwards instead (and hardly anyone takes that name).

Funny enough, it's one of my few other aliases. I played orion in a play in middle school, and for unknown reasons it stuck with me

A very spirited introduction =). Welcome and have a pleasant stay.
Watching the birds made me feel like taking a journey. The people, the landscapes, everything was imperfect but beautiful.

Hi Noiro, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 7260. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Welcome Noiro.

What you can do in the next year and a half? Start wearing more gender nuetral clothing, shave your legs, grow your hair longer and start shifting into a more feminine mindset. These little things will allow you to be more comfortable in a feminine way. It may also allow those closer to you to get more aquainted with your feminine self that when the time comes and you do come out, to them it would seem that they knew it all along.
