When at the bar at a very upscale resturant the man sitting next to me and chatting with me while we both eat our dinner ...picks up my bill.  And then walks me to my car and gives me  ahug goodnight.  Then emails me the next day inviting me to play golf with him.
Happy T Gurl living as Vicky half time.

Okay well this was about a month ago:
I was riding my bike down the street when about 5 teenagers said really loud:
"IS THAT A MAN OR A CHICK!?"
I was just wearing my usual unisex shorts & tee-shirt.
At that time I haven't even seen a therapist yet.
That really made me happy :)
REALLY happy...  :icon_boogy: :icon_boogy:

The best passing thing I get is merely vocally and socially; if people don't actually look at me I get ma'am'd all the time... and every time that happens I smile a little bit. I've been told plenty of times I would be a pretty girl but only confused for a female by someone looking at me once. He simply looked at me at work and left my lane saying "Thank you ma'am" and left I about cried and I haven't even started hrt. I hope to share my hrt first passing experience sometime within the next year though <3
You know I'd rather say nothing; and just be proud of myself for tearing down these walls.

When you are out with an exGF and she casually drops in to the conversation that you used to be her BF and no one believes her..

One could hardly blame him!

They would be the most discerning and worst critics ever, sounds as if you scored a big win!

I was stood at the hospital reception with my dad and he said 'excuse me, my daughter needs to be seen by somebody please' to which the receptionist looked at my dad, looked at me, looked behind us and then with a confused look on his face said 'well, where is she then?' I couldn't stop smiling.

That's a big win for you Joey, sounds like your dad needs one of those son to father conversations where you go, "Look dad, love you but it's time to get a clue!"  ;D

To be fair to him, this was shortly after I'd come out, and I wasn't even intending to pass at all, which is why it was so brilliant haha. My dad is all up for addressing me as male once I come out to everyone  :D

I was at Pizza Hut waiting for my large hand-tossed pepperoni pizza and one of the guys behind the counter picked up a pizza box with a pizza inside and asked if I was Linda. I just shook my head as I smiled and said, no, wrong gal.

Lol, I love how you had to specify that it's a large hand-tossed pepperoni pizza.

That's a great pass. ;D

Not sure if this is REALLY a pass or not. Might just be a very, very, tolerant ally, but today a mother holding the door for her four year old daughter to enter the ladies' room, also held the door for me and ushered me in ahead of her.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

A total pass Suz! If she had thought otherwise you can bet you wouldn't have been allowed in the restroom with her and her 4 yo daughter.

^THIS^ +1

That is so true, a protective mother is the most fearsome creature on the planet.

I totally agree. Except since I've started living as a woman, the mothers of all my children's friends see me as available for child care in a way they did not when they knew me as a man. Confirming, yes. But time consuming.  ;D

I was on a call (firefighter) and I was told to get the report information and got ma'am the whole time (and I wasn't even presenting femm lol) so I'm not sure if this counts or not but it made my day. Then the next day one of the guys at the station looked at me and said if you put some makeup on you would make a really pretty girl (I'm not out to them) so that also made my day :P

Jane,
Yes very confirming but watch out that they don't take advantage of you now that you have received their confirming stamp of validation, you aren't running a day care center hon!

Blastradius,
Total confirmation all around, looks like the other firefighters are very accepting as obviously you aren't fooling anyone by this time anyway, so how cool is that girlfriend? Time to unveil the real you once and for all!
