Hi there!

So my college has a Transgender support group (Which I am one of the leaders of) that we started last year. All last year we kinda winged it on everything we did. Now we are trying to get a bit more organized. The main focus of the group is to help any and all who may have trans feelings in anyway by educating, sharing experiences, tips, letting them know that they aren't alone, gain friends, or simply a place where that can be their true selves. We are a family really.

I was wondering all the lovely people on this site have any ideas that they could give me for things we could do in this group. We have 1 hour meetings once a week, though we aren't opposed to some unofficial get togethers outside of official group time.

... simply a place where they can be their true selves ...

That's the basic requirement, just a place to be accepted.  You can move on from there as members have new needs or think of new ideas.

Attempt to gather a list of outside resources that your members can access.  Trans friendly doctors, therapists, and even discount clothes places.

I think there are five basic areas in which a group like that can help transgender people.

1. Support - Helping people through trans-related and non-trans-related issues in their lives.

2. Practical advice - Beauty, transition, medical, and social tips to help people through transition and beyond.

3. Understanding - Sharing experiences and talking about the general nature of our condition toward a better understanding of it.

4. Social - A chance to meet people for social opportunities and to find friends.

5. Education and Advocacy - Educating the community about transgender and helping change local laws and attitudes.

I'd recommend actually keeping these separate. I.e. having a time where the group meets for pure support where other topics won't sidetrack it, scheduling occasions that are purely social, etc.

Are these the sort of ideas you're looking for?
