How often do you tuck when looking at yourself?

I have had a lifetime habit of tucking my penis when in the bathtub, hot tub or just trying to look at myself nude in the mirror and not squirm.  It is part of my dysphoria that is significantly improved but not eliminated now that I am in transition.
I often feel so much better doing the tuck and wondering if only......
How about you?

I'm so small that it tucks itself, which I am very thankful for. So I actually never have to worry about tucking. I still want it gone though.

I stay tucked with medical tape about 90% of the time, been doing that for several years now due to an incident involving inappropriate grabbing, it really made me feel so wrong and so violated that I can't leave the house at all without doing it.

Well my morning begins with 'satisfying' that pain the keester normally, because I find it makes a lot less noise during the day that way even if the process of sating it is so unfeminine.

But after that it's time for my bath which is entirely girl time and while I admit I like my bubbles, the thing is, they are also handy for making 'it' realize 'no you are not welcome'.

I don't tuck though. Although I am definitely tired of male form underwear, and sure would like to find something nice for girls. I just want something that fits nicely.

I am just assuming being 'tucked' is about as thrilling as the cis girls and their feminine pads. It can't be any different for level of comfort.

I live for the day there is nothing to tuck or attend to in any fashion at all.
Well being TG is no treat, but becoming separated has sure caused me more trouble that being TG ever will be. So if I post, consider it me trying to distract myself from being lonely, not my needing to discuss being TG. I don't want to be separated a lot more than not wanting to be male looking.

I've been tucking so long I don't know what it would be like if I didn't tuck? I don't know if tucking really helps my dysphoria it's just a normal part of life for me.
I think hrt has helped my dysphoria more than tucking before having that part was unbearable. But since starting hrt I really don't think about it much. Most days I completely forget about it. Now they are days were it does bother me. But that doesn't happen too often and I can't stop praising hrt enough for helping ease my bottom dysphoria.  :)

Like Bethany Dawn I am grateful for the shrink factor of HRT and like Heather it feels so much better to me that most days I completely forget about "it" too;-)
Marsh monster I hope you have a good supply of adhesive remover but I guess that medical tape will sure do the job.
Lesley Roberta how nice of you to empathize with our cis sister's comfort.

The micropore I use isn't an issue with the adhesive, it removes with the tape, doesn't leave a residue. I do stay taped for a few days at a time and taking a shower and all doesn't seem to affect it other than getting it wet, lol. I untape every few days to air things out so I don't get any sort of infection. I don't have a sweat issue, so...

It works for me, may not work for others, but I have to do it for my own peace of mind.

And that makes sense.  Your peace of mind is key.  I am early in the HRT process but love that my intimate body odors and skin oils have changed to a more feminine level.  No sweat, no problem
