PS could somebody please demonstrate/show me  how to do a one word link, instead of having to post the full link address...I'm a dinosaur when it comes to the workings of the internet....

1) Hit the "insert hyperlink" button above the place where you type the post: [url.][./url] <--dots added by me so the it doesn't look like this // once posted
2) Put the word you want in the middle of the two url brackets [url.]like right here[.../url] <--I added dots in the brackets so it's all still visible
3) In the first bracket, put = link so [url.=.www.susans.org]Susan's Place[./url.] <--do it just like this, just with no dots. 
          Make sure you don't add any spaces between the url=link]

Here's a hint for you LearnedHand:
If you want to post [url]example.com[/url] without adding the dots, you just use the [nobbc][/nobbc] tags outside of your [url]and[/url] tags
