Hi, it's been a while!
I've been diagnosed transgender for some years, seen psychiatrists and psychologists, and I am now at a place where I am ready to take hormones. I'm not interested in long term therapy before being prescribed HRT, but would rather see someone (or people) who will make a simple assessment, do bloodwork etc and then prescribe. Just don't want to waste too much time (and money) repeating the same things.
What is the most efficient way to go about this: seeing a trans-friendly psych and GP, or just GP, or any other way? I'm unaware of the trans-friendly specialists out there in Sydney at the moment - the people I saw in the past no longer have an active practice.
Thank you.
