The 2006 vesion was a decent film but a pale shadow of the 1973 original, which starred Christopher Lee, Edward Woodward,Britt Ekland and Ingrid Pitt.

The original is filmed in the remote Scottish Highlands and captures the true sinister goings on surrounding Pagan Britain and was synomonous with the Celts and Druids.

The 1973 version is also famous because Britt Ekland (who appears topless in the film) refused to have her bottom filmed and she had a "bottom double" which in itself is scary!

There other puzzling things  is how they found a Virgin to sacrifice every year in these remote Scottish Islands?
