It's been over a year now and apart from having no sex-drive whatsoever from my AA. I've had no change, either psychically or mentally whatsoever. I've been on IM, now pills and still haven't experienced anything. I only suffer from brain-fog and depression from what I can tell. I know what it feels like once it kicks in as I did DIY in the past. My doctor has told me to take it in the morning, and after 6 months I went to taking it before going bed since I had a hectic job were my mornings were different. I'm going to meet him again on the 26th. But I fear that something else might be wrong...

I was blaming low levels at first, but the results I got was way too good. My T levels are close to zero and I can tell, so what am I lacking? Is taking pills every 24hrs such a bad idea? Has anyone had similar problems? I'm thinking about switching to gel as patches didn't work out. I know that no-ones a doctor here but time is ticking and really I feel lost.

Are you only on AA or are you on E too? You won't get changes from a AA alone you need E to change you.

I'm on both. AAs (Androcur) and E (Progynon)

I would go and listen to the DR your levels may be off, or you may not get the affects form that particular E. you may ask about trying a different type.

Yep. check your levels and see what happens. Maybe up the dose if hte levels are just in the lower "normal" range. Make sure they put this in the right context. Back when I went to the endocs, they kept telling me that as predicted by the therapy my estrogen levels were too high for a man and that was printed on the lab sheet as well. I was like O.O Huh? As if that says anything? Of course they are, that was the frigging goal of the pills he described me but he did not tell me if they were in a normal range for girls in puberty which basically is what is going on. So I had to check myself again (and figured at that time that these docs are all so unknowing about TS that its amazing. I did not feel bad for doing DIY before as clearly they had no better idea what to do anyways ;)

If you had huge effects of your DIY HRT, maybe the major changes did already occur in that timeframe and now things are just going a bit slower?

I hadnt thought of that anjaq, that is a very good point. it may have just slowed down, with a majority of the change happening on the DIY

I have been on estrogen and progesterone  for 24 years and sprio off and on but not for about 8 years. I have not totally transitioned yet but since  my breasts are very noticeable  36 I it is pretty much impossible not be seen as female. Just went full time. :) Yes I still do yard work!

So he called me on the 20th... Turns out my values had gone way too low after increasing my dose. We decided to increase it yet again and see if it would help.. well so far I've had vivid dreams appear all to often this week, and that's a good sign since it's something I had to deal with during my first months on DIY.  However he is uncertain why my estrogen was so low to begin with. I know that super high dosages can convert the E>T but still. Also these guys know (or should at least) what they're dealing with. But he somehow forgot to mention that my values had gone down after my last checkup. Maybe I should blame myself for not calling sooner?

Anyhow I hope for the best.
